What is a Dietitian?

Dietitians in NZ are specifically trained and registered health professionals who meet standards required by the NZ Dietitians Board under the Health Practitioners Competency Assurance Act (HPCA) 2003. They must hold a practising certificate and adhere to a Code of Ethics.

About Vicki Robinson

My dietetic experience has spanned clinical work in public and private hospitals; student training at University of Otago and health promotion at Regional Public Health, Stroke Foundation and Cancer Society NZ. I am an active member of Dietitians NZ and past patron of Coeliac Society and Dietitians Board member.

I have supported many people to manage a wide range of nutritional issues including Coeliac disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, other gut issues, and weight related conditions such as gastric bypass, heart disease and diabetes.
